Num,
I got the Oakley hoodie in black. I know what you mean about the shipping, as it's kept me from some deals as well for smaller or less discounted items like socks, etc. I try to make sure anything I buy from SAC falls well below retail, even with shipping. I think retail on the Oakely hoodie was $109, so I felt that was worth the additional shipping, which is around $7-8 for me on clothing and smaller items.
I haven't bought any ski pants from them, and still hesitate for high ticket clothing items, as I hate to send things back. Unfortunately, I have a bit of a "menopot" to put it nicely, even though I don't really carry my extra weight all over - so pants I usually like to try on for fit and rarely order online - since I have that issue. To add to it, I'm 5'3", so sometimes I take a petite, sometimes I don't. I find ski clothes in general are cut on the smaller side in the waist, as they think everyone who skis is exceptionally fit and slim (and a good percentage are), something that I never gave a second thought to all the years I truly was slender, but now with my belly due to lack of hormones and stuff shifting, LOL, I am all too keenly aware that clothing manufacturers in athletic lines make this assumption and it's harder to find clothes if you have less than the "ideal" body type. Oh well...
Looking forward to my gear...
