One thing to add is I have and love the Volkl Secret 96s in a 163 and i love them. The blaze 86 feels like a skinnier Secret 96.

I am definitely growing quite fond of my Blaze 86’s. The narrowness underfoot helps me get up on edge easier and the wide tips have made me widen my stance (which I needed to do). I almost tripped myself several times on my first day on them, lol! After watching some Harold Harb videos I’ve been working on moving my new uphill ski leg up on edge and out of the way and that seems to be working well with these skis — still working on that. Seems almost like a breakthrough  The only thing I miss about my old stiffer Kenja’s is that rock solid fast cruising wide turn thrilll. But the Blaze seems much more versatile. So I am pretty happy with them and with this group of Blaze skiers for pointing me in their direction!:hail:
