That's impressive, considering how they change a lot.

I can name the states in alphabetical order. But they haven't changed since Hawaii/Alaska ECM in, whichever one was last.
Yeah, the quiz changes every once in a while, and there are always debates in the comments about some of the capitals, but it's still fun to try and keep track of. It also makes obscure city names more familiar when listening to NPR and BBC. :-)

Ok, thanks autocorrect. ECM (whatever that is) is supposed to be "came", as in "came in to the union."

Wow. I'm going to have to think about this. Y'all are very impressive.
UHMM... sorry but as a costume designer who lives in the world of "good enough" the nearest person is 30 feet away ... yeah, what you do is in the category of gifted!

That said, I can also say the alphabet backwards. I don't have a photographic memory or anything, but if I have something already memorized, backwards is a piece of cake!

Way back in the day, during a summer spent in Trois Rivières, Quebec - I learned to play the spoons. I don't know if I can still do it.

I am horrible at typing - the fastest timed test I ever did was 42 wpm. Ouch. And then I have to go back and correct my many many mistakes. Oh well!

@altagirl - I had a high school teacher who gave us weekly country/capital quizzes. So I used to have them memorized - you make me feel like a slouch for not having kept up with it. (That was quite a few yrs ago LOL)

My creative outlets are cake decorating and oil painting :-)
