This was last week -but I'm in Berlin and just getting to posting these.
So my SO and I had an AMAZING mid-week getaway at Lake Louise to celebrate Valentine's Day, and to celebrate that I got tenure at my home university last week. So I am now officially a tenured professor! We spent an AMAZING day skiing at Louise - there was about 5 cm overnight, so a nice refresh. And we spent most of the day skiing fun bump runs on the frontside and lapping the back bowls, which felt like they had much more than 5 cm in them. We spent most of our time on the back off of Paradise Bowl. I don't have many pics because it was pretty darn cold, but here are a few! It was just an amazing day!
First thing in the morning, me on my way to one of my favorite bump areas - Tickety Chutes/Tight Turn:
