Here's a good deal that actually does some good:

Skiers who purchase wind energy to power their homes for one year will receive a free one-day lift ticket to any of Vail's five resorts (Vail, Breckenridge, Keystone, Beaver Creek, and Heavenly). Not bad!

Hey Ski Diva, where can I get more info on this one? We power our house with wind power and have since we moved here.

Nevermind. I found it. You have to purchase wind power from a specific company based in Boulder. It's a great opportunity if you don't have a local green power source, though.

This is a goodie:

Utah's Wolf Mountain Resort announced this week its new California Passport Program, whereby any family member showing a valid California driver's license during the 2006/07 ski and snowboard season will receive one opportunity for four all-day or night lift tickets for that day's skiing and snowboarding at Wolf Mountain Resort.

"We know that it only takes one visit to northern Utah to fall in love with the slopes and the area, and our hope is that guests from California will bring their families to experience Wolf Mountain and our resort community," said Nancy Seraphin, Director of Marketing for Wolf Creek Resort, parent company of Wolf Mountain.

Tickets for the California Passport Program can be picked up at the Valley Lodging/Wolf Creek Activity Center located at 3718 N. Wolf Creek Drive at the Wolf Creek Resort.
