Favorite piece of equipment (other than skis or boots)

Oakley crowbar goggles. They fit great, don't fog up, and have great peripheral vision.

Next to that...the Chapstick! :becky:

My '07 Solomon CT-1 poles. I would love to find another pair in 46" but they stopped making them and I couldn't locate any last season. My coach reps for Solomon and uses the same poles.

Hmm... It would have to be between my mittens (yes, yes, even in CA) and my CamelBak, which has a little carabiner on the front shoulder strap to hang my mittens from when I take them off.

CamelBak doubles as a small backpack and instant water whenever I get thirsty. I think I have a tendency to gape my mouth open when I concentrate, giving me a lovely dry throat.

My OR Radia gauntlet gloves gloves were probably my favorite piece of ski gear this year because of the colder winter and fluffier snow we had in the PNW. (Still fresh in my memory on a warm July night!)

:ROTF: Yes, I suspect some might call me a gaper! hehe

Although, I have attempted to fill in the gap between my helmet and goggles with a silk beanie to better disguise myself. :eyebrows:
