I was thinking about you today. How are you healing? Gonna be ready for ski season? I hope!!!

Hey SnowHot, I just saw this...

I saw my orthopedic last Friday and he told me the toes are healing well. He said the probability of doing anything to damage the healing process is low, so I'm back in regular shoes (except my Manolos ).

I'm hoping they will have healed enough by Labor Day for me to do Sneffel's Highline (a 14er). My cousin is coming down from Denver, and he wants to do this hike.

I'm doing so well, I don't have to see my orthopedic again! That's the first time in almost seven months I don't have a follow-up appointment.

So, YES, I'll be very ready for ski season!!

ROFL! My doctor SHOULD have said that to me considering how many bones I've broken recently!
