How terrible for those who had a ski week planned, I would just be completely devastated if I were on a ski trip and this happened. :(Yes, they are closed today. Just happens that there are very high winds today, April 4. So there were likely to be wind holds and/or a delayed opening for TSV in any case. Hopefully the water line issues can be resolved before a decision needs to be made about re-opening on April 5. The link below is for the special update webpage that has a good FAQ.Are they still closed today?
Thanks for sharing. He is the reason we got our money back for a wind hold day.Not about the 2022-23 season since TSV closed on April 9, but worth noting now because it will impact the 2023-24 season for those who read this thread when planning for next season.
TSV is replacing Lift 4 and the Pioneer lift this summer. Don't know details yet. This summer, that will be a major focus for John Kelly, who was promoted recently.

"Taos Ski Valley, N.M., April 13, 2023—Taos Ski Valley promoted vice president of operations John Kelly to chief operating officer. As COO, Kelly will expand his purview to oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the resort, with a focus on enhancing the year-round Taos experience.
Among Kelly’s initial projects will be overseeing the replacement of two chairlifts this summer: the Pioneer lift and Lift 4. He will also work on programs and initiatives to build out the resort experience on-mountain and off, including pre-arrival and après ski offerings.
