Margarita strikes again

So today, I squeezed the rest of the grapefruits and tangerines my mom sent me a few weeks ago. The juices are in pitchers on my counter. Thinking I will do a tangerine margarita tonight. This is quite out of the norm for me....the purist.....but, in honor of the 80 degree heat today in Massachusetts (tomorrow could just as easily be 45), I think I will do it. A virtual toast to the ladies/divas!

get your fruit juice!

Dole sells a carton of pineapple/orange/banana juice that goes great with either vodka or rum and is not as acidic as some of my previous concoctions....

Margaritamarcia is so right about the need for fresh lime juice  My DH's recepie is 3 parts tequilla ( a good one! ) 2 parts cointreau and 1 part lime juice - forget about the margarita mix or sweet and sour :nono: I can only have one if I want to remember anything the next day :eyebrows:

My daughter's name is Daria! If you want to have more than one, you can mix equal parts tequila (only a good one), triple sec/cointreau, and fresh lime juice. You can go a little heavier on the tequila if you want. But a 3-2-1- recipe only lets me have one, too.

Do:thumbsup: you know what "Daria" means?
