Snow!

We were in Tahoe yesterday for the fun mixed precipitation. The mountains looked so beautiful after the system went thru, and especially this morning on my flight out of Reno. Made me stoked for winter. Also wishing I lived out here instead of the mid Atlantic area with our maybe three months of skiable conditions.

Snaining in the town of Jackson, and dumping in the Tetons! Massive storm through tomorrow night.

I suppose saying that we expect a frost (or freeze!) tonight is underwhelming...

Grand Targhee got 6 inches last night and people are already skiing it.

Same thing happened in September, too. I'm kind of fascinated that 6 inches is enough for people!

First snow at Snowshoe in WV overnight! Getting excited for the season! They'll open around Thanksgiving but usually aren't fully open on all trails till end Dec. We will be there on New Year's to finish out the week to recover from holiday travel and family drama fun. LOL

I’m in Michigan right now and the colors are beautiful. Not really peak, but I can’t even imaging how brilliant the colors will be this fall.
