Ski school - Windham or Belleayre?

I'm bringing my 16 year old brother skiing at the beginning of March. He has skied a few times before but is very nervous, mostly as a result of having skied with people who terrified him. I think the first thing he needs are some lessons. If the weather plays along, I'm thinking of going to either Windham or Belleayre as they're the easiest to get to for me. I've heard good reviews of the ski schools at both ski areas, but can anyone recommend one above the other? Suggestions for other good ski schools in the NY/Southern Vermont region would also be welcome. I hoping that if I get him some good lessons and then ski with him a bit, he'll build some confidence and discover how much fun skiing can be! Thanks!

An instructor friend of mine says that Windham is the place for you to go. He recommended an instructor name Ned aka "Coach". Also Windham is home to Mermer Blakeslee who is known for her work with fearful students.

I love Windham - really great place to get started. I never thought I could overcome my fears, but taking a lesson there was magical! (and don't go to Hunter )
