Well, I got the Auras back today and the bases look nice and flat and even. They did a complete re-tune on both skis. I'll find out later this week when I take them out for a test drive, but I'm pretty confident that the shop did a good job fixing them.

I'm looking forward to hearing how it went. I was just thinking "hey, they're not base high, they're railed just like what happened to that woman on the other forum!" And then I saw that you're her. :p

Yup. I posted on epic hoping a shop tech would chime in and explain HOW that happened. One did and my curiosity is satisfied.
@Covie he posted pictures of exactly what you described above.
