I bought an Elliptical!!!!!

OK, so I just started back at the gym after a long absence (ski season, then surgery). I've started working out on a machine by Life Fitness (I think) where the pedals go up and around like a bike and the arm pieces move back and forth. You can also pedal backwards. Dumb question, but is this an elliptical machine? I'm doing the cardio program for 15 minutes and am ready to up to 20. What a great workout, especially for the glutes, which I read are often not as strong on women as our quads which can lead to ACL injuries as a result :nono:

Are standing up?? If so, the answer is yes. Some have the moving arms & some the stationary arms.

Yes, I stand up while using the machine, which has a choice of stationary or moving arms. I use the moving ones for a better work out.
