How wide of a powder ski should I demo?

I love my 106 Stella QST and it was my only ski for 12 days in Japan, and I normally opt for narrow carvers unless there really is powder to be enjoyed.

My students loved the Sheeva 10s in moderate pow amd she's not a powder skier.so the 11s are probably a blast.

I was put off the Sheeva 11 by the Blister review that mentioned it getting bogged down in low angle powder. For reference I have the old rustler 10 as a daily driver when there's not much fresh snow.

I think it's 275 (size is 23.5 but bsl I always forget).. my boots are in Maine currently so I'd have to confirm.

I'm also 275 (23.5 boot). You are welcome to try my blaze 106s sometime at Killington. I'll be there well into May. Size is 163 i think

I also have a 4 year old Santa Ana 100 (169) and an older Stockli Stormrider 100 (166) if you wanted to try them also.

My feeling is that you love both your Blazes and your Sheevas, so try the big sisters. There is a good chance those will wow you! Haha! I ski a Volkl One which has a 116 waist (and is super rockered) in anything over boot top. They are big fun and absolutely "pivoty" in soft bumps. They are much more accomplished in powder than I am.
