How to transport skis/poles on bus

If the ride is over an hour I'd guess they will have storage under the bus for equipment. The types of buses that have you carry on your skis or stick them in holders on the outside of the bus are more the type that just shuttle skiers around ski towns. That being said you can put your skis in a bag but then you have to figure out how to store it once you are at the mountain. I rode on a bus like that from the town of Banff to Sunshine village and Lake Louise and everyone just stacked their skis on top of each other in the luggage compartment under the bus.
