Those look great on you! Athlete legs!Burton Vida snowboard pants run quite big, which is great for me; I like also that they don't look baggy.

(Photo: Mon Balon) Getting gear would be a lot easier if all of us wore the same size. Unfortunately — or fortunately, depending on how you look at it — that’s not the case. For those of us on the larger end of the spectrum — and I’ve heard this time and time again on...www.theskidiva.com
Well done, Wendy!
It could well be - in my own posts I was responding to others, but they could have been responding to your post! I probably should have led the above with "How did I miss this" .Thanks! To be honest, I thought that's why you were starting this thread. Quite the coincidence!
It’s just a word for ski pants. I find it weird saying ski pants as pants are your knickers here lol. What's another word for salopettes? I have heard of them but I can't remember our word for them.
There's a whole different thread for ski knickers! LOLIt’s just a word for ski pants. I find it weird saying ski pants as pants are your knickers here lol.
This is a good article and it really touches on a key thing here - people are plus size for a number of reasons. Some people have more fat. Some people have more muscle. Some people are in plus size for their overall size/height. I "think" what makes plus sizes really tricky is that added weight is so individual. Some people get larger everywhere. Some people it's their butt, or it's their gut, etc. That's why when you find a brand that fits your particular body type, you tend to stick with that brand - it just works for you - or doesn't.How did we miss this??!

No kidding. I'm in the small-but-has-muscles category; have friends who are plus-sized who also struggle to find good winter gear and would love to try skiing, if only...So glad this thread is started. It's super frustrating and demoralizing to go into stores and find they don't have your size (but do in men's). It's like they are saying, "you are too big/fat to (insert the name of the activity).
Boy's large snowpants -- the ones you can let out the seams on when you grow a couple inches *eye roll*. At 40, I'm only likely to get shorter!I cannot even imagine what the truly petite women are wearing.

And now, a bit later than expected - they are finally ready to be shipped... :DThat was Nobody's Princess in Australia that was already mentioned. They are having delays getting product out the to Kickstarter supporters.
