Winter Storm heading for Rockies!

Hey, they FINALLY showed up to start digging us out. I have hope that I might get out of the house today! I was about to resort to busting out the snowshoes and the backpack carrier for DS...now if only the Y actually opens at noon, like they say they're going to!

You're lucky! No sign of ploughs here and we're not on a school bus route so we'll be the last of the last. My hubby is just back from a short trip and said the roads aren't good - ice underneath, so take care if/when you travel.

Well, they plowed out our condo complex anyway. I'm in the city of Denver, so I expect the roads to be ok-ish. There's one side street that will be iffy, but after that, it's all main roads that should be plowed...

Actually, my accuweather forecast on the bottom of my browser window says 57 on Saturday. Bring on the melt, I've got 12 miles to run (pushing the stroller, no less) this weekend!

I'm just back from a tour of Monarch (forgot my camera so no pics). We did three laps in about 2 -2.5 feet of powder. I wasn't really ready to give up mtn biking and hiking, but now I sure am! Bring on Winter!
