Women & Skiing in Time magazine.

Thought you all might be interested in an article on women & skiing in the Feb 5 issue of Time magazine:

Basically, it says that the industry -- resorts and equipment manufacturers -- are finally getting the picture that women skiers have different interests & needs than men (along with tremendous purchasing power), and that they're finally taking some steps to address them.

The writer contacted me for input; unfortunately, he didn't use any of it. Too bad -- TheSkiDivas could've been famous! Oh, well.

Interesting article. I'm just surprised it's taken everybody this long to figure it out already! Women already have different needs for ski clothing, it makes sense that we would have different needs for equipment as well.

Money talks...thank goodness someone's finally listening!

...it just makes good marketing sense to market to us! Seriously....

They must now have more heads of marketing who are women! :D
