Just returned. Conditions incredible for this time of year. Wide trails with a light covering of corn over hardpack, groomed daily, with only a couple rocks beginning to show thru on the trails that were open. Fast, smooth cruising top to bottom. Lower parts of trails only a bit cruddy in the afternoon, upper parts just a bit chewed, but still great. Freezing at night, sunny, warm during the days. Best we've ever experienced there. Tickets $39. They say they are planning to stay open to May 2. Really worth it for great late Northeast skiing. We also hiked to lots of waterfalls daily when we stopped skiing. Tuckerman's apparently is still going strong too, with fresh snow last weekend, but we didn't go in. Did I mention how I love it up there?!
