Well, it happened.

The Boy broke his arm snowboarding.

Go figure, it was just him and the boys. I'm sure the testosterone was flowing.

Well, here's to hoping the cast won't be on terribly long and that everything will heal up and he'll see the error of his ways and start using those new skis instead.

Do those thoughts make me a bad girlfriend?

You know, it probably is! He took back the Cartels because the highbacks were cutting into his calves, but he never got new ones. He just bought a replacement nut and knowing him probably never got around to putting it on and was still boarding on the zipties.

i'll have to ask him if he fixed the bindings or not!

I am sorry to say that being on skis won't help. My husband wrecked both of his knees on skis. The first time it was his right knee. His ACL and MCL blew apart doing high speed GS turns, he launched over a bump and landed wrong. The Second time it was his left knee a torn ACL, he was playing in the terrain park thinking he was 16 again. He had reconstruction on both and still skis, but no more terrain park.

A ski instructor friend dislocated his shoulder and tore his rotator cuff while in a clinic. He is having surgery on Apr. 3. My SO has torn his menicus, acl and rotator cuff (2x) and I've done my rotator cuff and acl.

It may not seem like it but a broken arm is minor compared to knee and shoulder injuries.
