Update on Big Mountain/Whitefish?

I know we've got some regulars of Big Mountain... care to give a real world update on conditions? We are scheduled for march 14-18. I'm over in Spokane and know that your conditions relate to the region somewhat, and so far it hasn't been a very good year here.

thanks

I'll go out on a limb here and try and predict the weather.

As long as we don't get rain, I think the conditions will continue to be a groomer's delight. The base is solid, we've been getting dustings even on the "sunny" days lately and the nights have been cool. I wouldn't expect off piste fluff in the trees, tho. The last storm was right before Presidents' weekend, so the crowds have crushed all that into well-packed snow. The little fluff that's left will be well gone by the time you get here and I don't see a thing in the forecast to brighten that picture.

One can always dream.
