Trip report II: Cruise to hell

Y'know, abc, I know that things didn't go as smoothly as you would've liked during your trip, but you sure saw some wonderful things. Your pictures are terrific. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Thanks for the compliment, Ski Diva!

As dloveski just pointed out (or 'rubbed it in' so to speak), just imagine how beautiful it REALLY is that we were denied! :mad2:

Like I mentioned earlier, I will quite likely get a chance to go back to Budapest sometime in the future. But for those over 70 (half of the passenger on the boat, my Mom included), it maybe their last chance to visit Budapest which Viking ruined. It's for fact that I felt incredibly sad.

Agree with Ski Diva.

So sorry for your awful experience, feel your pain (well, in a sense?) and frustration - and hope you can get some resolution to this via complaint of some kind.

Sometimes squeaky wheels get the oil?

But the photos are lovely!

That's awful. We get so little time with our families and work so hard to vacation, and then to have a company take advantage of you, and in such an arrogant way...I hope they offered some sort of reasonable settlement (and it wasn't another cruise on their line)!
