Ski Diva Extraordinaire
I wish I could afford to go to Canyons (Park City) on powder days! I went on a courtesy pass (my Son in law is a ski instructor there) and I got a discount). The snow was great---the trees and bowls were UNTRACKED and there's so much terrain that one can always find the good stuff.
I enjoyed skiing with the grandkids, they know the place and were my ski guides. The boys love it--Liam can outski me in the trees. My granddaughter skis well but is not as wild about it as the boys.
The 7 year-old loves to dart in and out of the trees, especially the "Tunnel of Fun" (his name for it). His brother, Liam, the 13 year old grandson skis there at least twice a week (and daily (first chair to last chair) during spring break) often by himself as his dad teaches. He goes into the steeps and trees and does great--but I keep telling him when he's by himself he needs to dial it down until he's with his dad. He told me one powder day, he was in Jupiter Bowl (PC) by himself and some guys tried to help him as they thought the poor kid was lost and needed assistance (he declined and skied down).
He told me he was on Jupiter Bowl in PC by himself on a powder day and some guys were worried he was lost and needed help ;-)
