My family and I are planning a trip to Showshoe the first week of March and I wanted to see if anyone has any advice on what we should or shouldn't do there (where to eat?, night skiing at Silver Creek?). Thanks.

It's been a long time since I have skied there so I can't really help you. Try www.dcski.com. You should get good information there

I just got back! We brought a lot of our own food, so we only ate at Cheat Mtn Pizza the night we arrived and then one night out at Foxfire Grill, both in the Village. Both were good - especially Foxfire. We didn't do any night skiing, but we skiied three days (not at Silver Creek). Snowshoe's weather can be unpredictable, so you might want to buy your lift tickets day-by-day instead of all at once. My kids loved the Split Rock Pools, even swimming outside when it was 2 degrees. Let me know if you have any specific questions - I'm happy to help! - meredith
