Smuggler’s Notch

Just giving a shout out to Smuggler’s Notch. First time here and yesterday was a treat. Bluebird skies and time to ski with long time friends. The ride up Madonna chair was filled with snow covered trees that looked like magical, mythological creatures. Each tree telling its own tale. The afternoon snow on Morse was a soft delight and the late afternoon “pink”glow in the trees was wondrous. I was told it is from the sun reflecting on Lake Champlain. Smugs has quickly won my heart. Thanks to the repair shop that fixed the skis I “stone ground” in PA just prior to this trip.
