Skiing with the Pros opportunity

Last week I reported about skiing with two women pros at Wachusett, in a clinic run by Head Skis. (See "skiing with the pros" - don't know how to set up a direct link.) I loved it! I really trusted these two women teachers. They are obviously pushing Head's line of women's skis, but they are incredibly well informed about all elements of skiing, and they love to teach. These two teachers are former U.S. Ski Team members Pam Fletcher and Lisa Densmore:
Pam Fletcher – Member 1988 Olympic Team, 6 national titles
Lisa Densmore – Former U.S. Ski Team member and pro racer, member of HEAD International Women’s Design Team. The clinic was well worth my time and expense.

I just got an email about another women's clinic, just like the one I did, at Nashoba Valley in southern New Hampshire (I think that's where it is-have never been there), on Feb 14. I suspect Nashoba Valley will have this on their website, but here's the contact number at the mountain if you'd like to look into it: 978-692-3033.

I also just added information to your other post about a clinic at Wintergreen in March.

What's Wintergreen? Isn't that something you play "sparking" with in the closet?

I thought Wintergreen was a flavor of Dentyne gum!

Wintergreen is a resort in Virginia. ;)

Wintergreen is about 2 1/2 - 3 hours from D.C. in the Blue Ridge Mountains, near Charlottesville (and UVA.) Lots of people in the NOVA (northern virginia) area have condos there. It's a four-season resort w/golf, tennis, a spa, etc. My neighbor has one and they go down every weekend - her kids are on their ski team.

I skied with Lisa Densmore yesterday (we are friends) and I asked her about other clinics. Besides the one at Wintergreen, there is one at Nashoba Vally on Valentine's Day. Nashoba is in Massachusetts, near Boston (to correct Liquidfeet, it is not in NH). You can register online. Here is a link for information and to register:

Nashoba and Wintergreen are the last two clinics of the season. I highly recommend these clinics, so if you can, try to attend!

I stand corrected. Nashoba is indeed in MA, not NH. Whoops on me. I heartily recommend these wonderful women teachers. Something good happens in their company!

Weeeellll, it's not like there's much of a difference between MA and southern NH. You don't feel like you've fled the metropolis until you've driven SEVERAL HOURS north! ;)
