Skiing in Vail after rain?

Has anyone skied Vail the day after a rain shower? What are the bowls like? Are we talking breakable crust or death cookies?

Forecasts call for rain Friday afternoon, with Saturday temps forecasted to be in the low 40s. I'm not really familiar with Vail's 'freeze point' so not sure if the forecast really means snow. Have out of town friends coming to ski that are eager to visit Vail for the 1st time, but I'd rather not take them there if conditions are going to be miserable.

Thanks in advance!

It does look like the freezing level is a bit higher than normal, but most likely if it rains, it will be closer to the base, where lots of grooming will help. The good news is that if the next day is in the 40s, whatever rain fell and froze should soften up in the warm sun. At this point, I imagine the south-facing bowls are already thawing and freezing every night, so I'm not sure it will change conditions very much. No matter what, probably a good idea to wait on those until they see some sun.
