"Instead of dropping your skis off at the shop and missing a powder day, pick up the Swix Alpine Small Wax Kit, and take care of it on your own. The small kit includes a multi-condition wax, 1 p-tex stick, scraper, edge sharpener, detuning stone, and two rubber bands. All you need is a place to work and an old iron from the thrift shop, and you'll be setup at home to take care of most repairs. The edger allows you to sharpen the horizontal and vertical edges of the ski to a one degree and an 89 degree bevel. Use the stone to detune the tips and tails to your liking, slap on a coat of wax, and you'll be ready to take on the mountain."
