Roof Box Recommendation?

@SallyCat - we just got rid of our Thule box. its true that it holds a lot of equipment, but it took two of us to mount it, I needed a step stool to each inside of it, the locks were flimsy and fickle, and i kept extra hinges in the car because they regularly broke in the cold. In addition to Stratton, Tremblant also has underground parking which @lisamamot learned on our Diva trip several years ago. I think she got relegated to a distant parking lot because her Thule was too tall.

We are back to keeping skis inside the car. They stay cleaner than in a rack, and much easier to load and unload than the Thule solution.

I did, lol. Their garage is quite low, but I still wouldn't trade my box for another mode of transport. I am so surprised you have had hinge issues - our box is quite old (12+ years) and we have never had a problem. Perhaps it is another case of "they just don't make them like they used to"?
