Comprex and I had to go from the backside of Whitetail (did my first black diamond - OK, it was more like dark blue) to the front for our last run of the evening yesterday. As we were riding up the lift from the backside, I asked which route we'd be taking. His response?

"Got your helmet on? You'll need it for the low hanging branches. OK, follow me!!"

Not a reply that inspired confidence. Sure enough, he took off over an unmarked, very narrow path that paralleled the correct one, sparks showering off his edges. I stuck to the regular path.

So, how was the skiing? obviously you survived! Whoo hoo. Score one for a challenge conquered!

Skiing was great. We had a good night of it. Almost NO ONE was on the lifts.
