Perfect day!

Husband took the day off work today as we were going to go to the demo day at Copper. But when we looked into it more closely, it didn't look like such great value, so he rented a pair of Salomon Lords and we hotfooted it to Loveland instead.

And it was just wonderful. One of those perfect ski days that you'll remember for a long time. Gorgeous weather, empty slopes (there were numerous times where I stopped and looked round and couldn't see a single other person. Beautiful 'creaky' snow, fresh powder, and absolutely no lift queues at all.

I love my new skis, the new boots I'm still working on. Took a lesson which was great, really good instructor and I feel I've learned a lot.

And to top it all, even the drive there and back was fuss free!

Doesn't sound like it could get any better than that!

I'm jealous - although it has FINALLY snowed here so apparently we'll actually get to ski sometime in the near future.
