Headed to Park City this weekend and curious about shuttles & Uber during these COVID times (Feb 2022). I have a rental but is it really needed?

Within park city, the bus system is pretty darn good! Getting from the airport, ubers are pretty available - i often use a car service ([email protected]).

If you schedule a shuttle in advance and are comfortable riding with strangers, that should work fine this season. Getting from the airport to PC isn't a concern with Uber/Lyft. Depending on your flight schedule, using Uber/Lyft can be tricky if you are leaving at a popular time.
I take a shuttle up to Alta regularly but always book at least 24 hours in advance with Alta Shuttle.
Parking can be a pain in downtown PC. Going there from local lodging is probably a lot simpler taking the bus. Some local residents ride the bus with their boots on to go skiing.

I second this (re: bus). I rode the bus to the resort on Sunday booted up and ready to go and it was MUCH easier than fighting for parking!
