Opening day at WB

conditions are pretty good for this time of year, the snow is definitely benefiting from La Nina temps - light and dry - not our usual cement.

mucho fun to be back on the sticks again. you know I just might do it again tomorrow!!

yesterday wasn't too cold but today, hello arctic airflow!! -19C this a.m.

it's supposed to hang around for a few days too. yikes, bundle up ladies!!

I have a WB season pass for the first time this season but had to miss the opening because it was the last day of the clinical trial I am running.

Hoping to head up for the opening of Blackcomb on Thursday.

thursday should be a good day. freshies on the comb, and the arctic chill should have passed by by then.

Your -19C air is moving down to Park City. Wednesday, our HIGH is supposed to be only -17C... And, we've got heavy snow and wind warnings for today and tomorrow, "tapering" to just snow Tuesday...

Yeah, I did see that temps were supposed to become milder after Wednesday (*whew*).

Yikes. The pilot on my plane just announced that temps in Seattle are 35 degrees.....I've been in LA all weekend and barely have the right close once I return.

Glad to hear that the snow's been good - can't wait!
