...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 AM EDT WEDNESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BURLINGTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 AM EDT WEDNESDAY.

THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS FOR ALL OF NORTHERN NEW YORK...AS WELL AS THE ENTIRE CHAMPLAIN VALLEY AND WESTERN SLOPES OF THE GREEN MOUNTAINS IN VERMONT.

SNOW WILL DEVELOP FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST ACROSS THE AREA LATE THIS EVENING...AND THEN MIX WITH SLEET TOWARD DAYBREAK. 2 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW AND SLEET IS EXPECTED TO FALL ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA...BEFORE GOING OVER TO ALL RAIN BY MIDDAY WEDNESDAY.
