Worst of it seems to be over - alas, the damage is done. :(
We are however, at least up here, still on flood watch per the weather service due to run-off into rivers and streams, which will start moving the ice floes pretty seriously and possibly result in ice jams. Then the back-flow of water in the rivers has nowhere to go but land-ho.

Basement fared okay here, just a trickle, so thank goodness we rebuilt the bulkhead foundation a couple of years ago to get it more above-grade.

Will be interested in seeing how the 2 resorts here that shut yesterday (Sugarloaf and Saddleback) fared. Glades (which were darn good prior) at both are undoubtedly toast. But...if they let the water drain out of the snow and let it set back up before putting traffic or groomers on it. there won't be a solid-ice base.

As always, it seems to be two-steps-forward-one-step-backward around here. Could be/has been worse...carry on, I'll be out there next weekend (with newly sharpened edges) regardless. Possibly as early as Friday. Probably not before.
