Family member reported in that conditions on opening day have been VERY nice, 4 or 5 lifts are open.

Conditions for opening day at Mammoth were pretty good. The runs that they made snow on top of the the 14 inch base were excellent. Couldn't go off piste anywhere due to thin snow coverage. The CEO, Rusty Gregory, led an opening day champagne toast on the sundeck Great fun had by all!

A big storm is coming this weekend. We'll finally be heading up sometime in the next couple of days!
