Width of the boot, at the forefoot or widest part of the boot. As oppose to saying A, B or C width as we do in shoes.

its off a reference size, usually a 25.5 i think for women. so a 98 mm lasted boot is narrower than that in a smaller size.

Just wanted to say that if you're trying to buy a pair of boots online or something I'd highly recommend not doing that without having a fantastic boot fitter in you back pocket. Buying just based on numbers is a good way to be in pain every ski day.
