The J Resort (formerly The Sands Regency) in Reno sent me a promo mailing touting discount lift tickets to Mt Rose for registered guests. However, there is nothing on their website that gives any further detail as to what the discount is, blackout dates, etc. (see screenshot, below)
I usually stay a few blocks away at Silver Legacy bc I get comps there. But I am seriously considering The J because the new hotel rooms have a small kitchenette in them!!! That's amazing for me, queen of the hotel hobos!
. Silver Legacy has a fridge and Keurig in room but no microwave or kitchen sink.
Likely what I'll do is stay at Silver Legacy on my next visit to Reno, but stroll down to the J one evening to play a little and get enough points for a discounted or comped room on my next visit. I'm also going to ask if they status match w other casino groups.
