Getting Around Park City

HI All!

I am travelling to Park City Utah in January and staying at the Lodges at Stillwater. Anyone stay there before or know the area? I am trying to find out if I need a rental car or is there public transportation/shuttles. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Park City's public transportation is phenomenal!! No need for a car rental. We stayed in a condo across the street from PCMR, and could catch a free bus to any of the ski areas and downtown for shopping dining! You will have a great time.........so envious!

The Lodge at Stillwater is actually NOT in Park City. It is several miles out of town on highway 40 near the Jordanelle Dam. You will most definitely need a vehicle to get around, since the city bus service does not run out there (that area is actually just on the other side of the county border).
Now, it is just across the street from the Mayflower gondola for Deer Valley. If you want to ski DV, it's the best way to do it.

Yeah, I called the front desk and they informed me of that as well. Oh well, trying to use up the last of my timeshare weeks and this was all there was in Park City. Oh well, I like driving around new places!

I definately plan on checking out Deer Valley...maybe adding in Park City and the Canyons - just dont want to overwhelm myself!
