Fischer boot question

I am planning on buying my boots at the end of the season so I am leasing my equipment right now. I quickly discovered that my boots are too big. If I push my foot forward I do not feel the back of the boot. So I found out that may be able to wear my son's boot. He is also leasing his equipment. My boots are Nordica exopower 6.0 and my son's boots are Fischer Soma F7000. His is one size smaller but only 1 mn less according to the boot. His boot feel smaller in size though. Does anyone know anything about the Fischer boots?

I don't know anything about those boots, but if you're leasing the equipment, can't you take it back to the shop and exchange for the correct size? Seems like they should be willing to do that for you, especially if putting you in the wrong size was their mistake to start with...

Agree with itri.....check with the shop you're leasing from. They should let you exchange them for the correct size.

Boot sole length is somewhat different from manufacturer to manufacturer. However, the fact that your sole length varies only 1mm suggests that the difference you're feeling in the boot may be due to the thickness of the liner or footbed. To really check for correct length, remove the liner from the boot and use a tape measure to check actual footbed length inside the boot (put the end of the tape all the way into the boot until it touches the toe end. Measure to where the tape begins to bend up the back of the boot). In centimeters, this is the ACTUAL size of the boot.

Yes I could bring it back, but they don't have hardly anything left in my size. I will check with them this weekend.
