Question: Boot molding/baking?

...I think that's what they call it.

Where can I get my boot liners molded for the upcoming season? I had my hockey skates molded a long time ago at my local hockey shop, but is this the same technique for ski boots?

How does it work - do I bring the whole boot in with me? :noidea:

Thanks in advance!

I don't think you can do this with just any liner but I may be wrong. Do you have liners designed to be heat molded?

Your boots will need to be a heat mouldable liner to start with. Not all liners are. Let us know brand and model. If they are, then you need to go to a good ski shop. They will put the liners on a machine that in much like a double hair dryer. After the liners are ready/heated, they will be re-inserted into the boots. Then you put the boots are your feet - nice and toasty warm and the boot fitter will buckle them up for you. After about 20 min, the liner has moulded to your feet and cooled down. I think you should head across the bridge or into the big city. If you are thinking of Toronto - Sign of the Skier or Sporting Life.
So what brand and model are you skiing in?

Oh, I had no clue you couldn't do it with just ANY liner.

I don't know off the top of my head what they are...will post in a bit!

Edit: They are Nordica B7s.
