Beaver Creek Question

Is it possible to stay somewhere in Beaver Creek where you have a kitchen and can get to the grocery store without having a car?

And how much of a hassle is it?

Now that the town gondola is up and running, it's certainly possible to stay in Avon and get up the mountain without a car. The gondola runs from the Westin which is pretty much right in the center of Avon. City Market is pretty close to most of the in-town condos, Christiana, Chapel Square or Arrowhead Village are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. The ECO Transit isn't free though and I'm not sure that everything is in walking distance (I've never tried it myself). Your hotel/condo may also have a shuttle service.

If you stay in one of the main resort base areas, Beaver Creek, Arrowhead, or Bachelor Gulch, you won't have direct access to a grocery store. There will be smaller convenience stores, but not a large supermarket.

Good Luck!
