Hi,

I've been reading many of the reviews about the various skis out there and I'm unsure of some of the terms that are used. Could someone give me the low-down on some of the lingo? (In particular, what does "damp" mean?)

Thanks a bunch ladies!!

Emily

p.s. I just discovered this site a couple of weeks ago and boy am I glad I did!!

Oops!

I just found the answer in an earlier post! I figured I would, but isn't just that ol' Murphy's Law that you find it AFTER you post the question?!

No problem, Emily!

Just a note: we have a Skiing Dictionary where you can ask for and provide definitions to skiing terms.

I'll add "damp" to it.
