—Shins on boot tongue (forward pressure)
—Knees over toes (don’t stand up straight!—you want athletic crouch!)
—Roll your ankles (carving)
—Initiate turn with big toe pressure (outer ski foot); little toe pressure on your other foot. This helps you get on your edges!
—Chin over your turning (outside) ski. Helps keep your torso and head centered and looking firward, ie, downhill.
—Elbows in FRONT of body (at your side or behind = your weight is back and now you are riding your tails).
