Whistler is saying a "deep dusting" up top.

Pretty deep dusting!

Squaw Valley had its first snow of the season on Sept. 21st and 22nd, only total of 4 inches on the upper mountain. It will probably all melt, but still, nice to see an early snow this year. Hopefully more to follow in October! I was up in the valley today to go biking, and it was cold!

And here's the *yawn* view from the grocery store on Ridge Street.

(The snow has melted pretty significantly around the neighborhood, as you'd expect.)

20" fell at Hoodoo in the last 48 hours, and it is still falling. The last round of snow was just about all gone, but this batch will probably stick around. Hoodoo has been known to open with 12" of compacted snow, but probably won't open until they have a solid 36". The terrain is too uneven otherwise.

Bachelor has had about 11" since yesterday evening, and is reporting about 20" accumulated snow. There was some snow left over in the summit area from the last round of snow, but the base area was all melted out, before this round of snow came.

Some sun and rain showers are forecast for next week for the Oregon Cascades, but maybe also more snow!

If you are trying to make us jealous, you've succeeded. Here in Windsor County, VT, we had the first widespread frost last night.
