Long story short...? Older boots dated from 09-10. Replaced liners once. 2nd set packed out. Found identical full replacements - same boot, same model year. Didn't work as well. (What?) (Same happened to @mustski) Put old, worn boots away. Somewhere. No idea where.Tried to make new ones work. Mega-exasperation. Gave up when I found great deal on Full Tilt. Had minimal to lose. Still have the replacement Tecnicas which are marginal for functioning (for me). On the fence. Crazy story, but happened to her as well. Both of us had "foot changes" over last summer???
Since the same thing happened to you, I am leaning towards believing that tecnica made some "minor" change in the boot - too minor to call it a change?

Mine was the exact same boot, exact same model year. If I ever find (do not laugh, I cannot find them) my worn out ones (WHERE ARE THEY?), I will compare whatever numbers I can find with the ones that replaced them last March. It's not that the replacement ones don't "fit," I don't think. They just don't feel great. I'm keeping the replacements around for awhile (provided I don't "misplace" those as well?) and will likely throw them back on for comparative purposes?? Yeah, it's weird.
