To finish up the season, Laura and I had a great run from Lone Peak on the North Summit Snowfield to Rips to Tears to Direct to Horseshoe to the Sixshooter. All in all a little over 4,000 vertical feet. Powder on the north facing slopes, spring corn snow on the south - on the last day of the 2015-16 season.

It was a fantastic last day. You can't cover that mountain any more than by signing out with ski patrol to ski the North Summit snowfield and Horseshoe Ridge in the morning, and then find yourself way over in the Dakota Territory in the afternoon.
Was my first time skiing portions of the Rips and Tears exits from the snowfield. Really fun with great, soft, mid-winter snow!
Sure was hard to say goodbye though . . . . so it was a tough day too.
Thanks for posting that great picture Ursula.
It will help me take the memory of our last day through the long summer.
