Never know what to expect during a ski trip to Alta in April. Here are a few views from my room at Alta Lodge, taken in the morning before the lifts started up. First snowstorm started April 6, the second started on April 14. April 18 was Closing Day for Alta Lodge and 7-day operations by Alta Lifts.

Pictures from Room #12 taken April 6, 7, 15, 18.

Didn't take many pics when chasing powder turns. These are from April 16 after the storm finished in the morning for an official total of 28 inches in about 48 hours.

Same spot in Wildcat trees. Note how far down AY's pole went into the snow

The "meadow" all the way out Catherine's, selfie is looking up slope from the same spot just before we had a good time getting some deep powder turns. It was after lunch, so first tracks were long gone.
