They got a foot of snow out of this system up here. Will be rough stuff tomorrow, but hey------
Fellow forum member/ski pal heading up there tomorrow. I have a few days to coax the rehabbed patient into enthusiasm. First time in years I've missed any November days, but will gladly accept this delay in lieu of a January thaw.

Yeah, I heard it was opening! Totally exciting! And, MSL, you're not getting there tomorrow? Mind you, a foot of snow over no base might be a tad dicey. But still, I think I'd chance it. No white stuff at all up here, but it is a bit cooler so that's something. Some in the forecast but nothing major.

^^ Ha, had given up hope for this weekend and made alternate plans for Sunday -- which I really would like to keep. It's being touted as "cowboy-tough" skiing, with lots of water main troughs and some walking at the base. I'm gonna let my "compadres" sample it first - at this point, what's another weekend?? Also need a nice, easy, groomed beginner run for other-half to ease his "new" knee into. (Same wouldn't hurt me, either!)

Finally! I'm really happy to hear that you're getting snow!
