Pants!

Does anyone have a reco for comfy hiking pants that are not super lightweight? I'm in the NE and hoping to continue hitting the trails even after it gets cold! Thanks in advance!

I don't know about hiking - but Athleta has in the past sold pants that are some kind of "swishy-sounding" lightly lined all weather pant... (I think they call the material tech trek?) super comfy and pretty warm. Maybe too warm. I have a pair for apres ski and really like them. This is the kind of thing:

And I think they sell petites and tall for a lot of their styles. Not a hiking pant per se but a pant for an "athletic" lifestyle... LOL.

:goodluck:

Any of the lighter weight softshells will be nice for hiking in cold weather. I have a pair of REI ones (maybe the Acme pant?) that work nicely for hiking down to about freezing without any baselayers, and then just add those in one it gets colder.

Marmot, Mountain Hardware, Patagonia and all of those brands make a similar pant.
